B. Registration Requirements
  • I am at least 18 years old and will provide a copy of my current government-issued driver’s license.
  • I will maintain accurate contact information on my JAA account, including my current email address and phone number.
  • My online bidding privileges will not be activated until JAA approves my registration and receives the full $300 refundable deposit.

C. Online Access
  • My approved public account may be used for JAA Marketplace and designated Public Auction Simulcast events.
  • My public account does not authorize participation in the Tuesday Dealer-Only Auction. Dealer-only events require separate dealer qualifications and approval.
  • I will not share my account, bidder number, password or bidding access with another person.

D. $300 Refundable Deposit
  • The $300 is a refundable customer deposit; it is not a registration fee or buyer fee.
  • The deposit remains on my account while I remain active. JAA does not pay interest on the deposit.
  • I may ask JAA to apply all or part of the deposit to a vehicle purchase. If my deposit balance falls below $300, my online bidding privileges will be placed on HOLD until I restore the balance to $300.
  • The deposit is not transferable to another person or bidder account.
  • If I owe JAA money because of an unpaid purchase, authorized fee, returned payment, chargeback, default or other amount due under these terms, I authorize JAA to apply my deposit to those amounts before any refund is issued.

E. Bids, Offers and Purchases
  • A bid or Buy Now purchase submitted through my account is my action and is binding when accepted under the applicable sale or Marketplace terms.
  • A cancellation request does not cancel a binding bid, accepted offer, IF transaction or completed purchase.
  • Vehicle-specific announcements, light conditions, seller disclosures, reserve/IF conditions and the current posted JAA auction rules control each transaction.
  • JAA may reject or reopen bidding, correct an obvious clerical/system error, or suspend an account as permitted by the applicable auction rules and management policy

F. Payment, Fees, Title and Pickup
  • For online purchases, payment in full is due within 24 hours of auction close unless the listing or sale-specific terms state otherwise.
  • I am responsible for the purchase price plus all current buyer fees, applicable taxes, title/registration charges, storage charges and payment-processing fees stated in the sale terms or posted fee schedule.
  • Vehicles and titles are not released until JAA’s payment-clearance requirements are satisfied.
  • Pickup, storage and title-delivery requirements are governed by the current posted JAA terms for the transaction.

G. Vehicle Condition and Buyer Responsibility
  • I am responsible for reviewing the vehicle information, photographs, announcements, light/status and all available condition information before bidding.
  • Online photographs, descriptions and data are provided to assist bidding but do not replace the vehicle-specific terms, announcements or inspection rights that apply to the sale.
  • Any arbitration, guarantee, TechCheck inspection coverage, AS-IS status or other condition protection is determined solely by the vehicle’s stated sale terms and JAA’s current published rules.

H. Default and Account Suspension
  • Failure to complete a purchase, returned payment, chargeback, identity issue, account sharing, fraud or material violation of JAA rules may result in immediate suspension or termination of bidding privileges.
  • A refundable deposit is refundable only after my account is closed in good standing and all obligations to JAA are resolved. JAA may deduct or apply amounts I owe before returning any remaining balance.
  • I remain responsible for amounts due under an accepted transaction even if those amounts exceed my deposit.

I. Cancellation and Deposit Refund

HOW TO CANCEL
Email jaauctiononline@gmail.com from the email address on your JAA account. Use the subject: CANCEL PUBLIC BIDDER ACCOUNT- [YOUR FULLNAME].
  • JAA will disable new bidding when the cancellation request is received and verified.
  • JAA will first confirm that I have no unresolved bids, purchases, unpaid balances, returned payments, chargebacks, fees or disputes.
  • When my account is clear, JAA will issue the eligible refund by JAA check and mail it by USPS to the verified mailing address on file.
  • If I request a different mailing address, JAA may require additional identity verification before changing the refund address.
  • Eligible refunds are generally processed within 5 business days after the account is cleared. USPS delivery time is separate and is not controlled by JAA.
J. Acknowledgment and Agreement
I have read and understand this Public Online Bidder Registration & Deposit Agreement. I agree to follow the current JAA Marketplace, Public Auction Simulcast and posted auction terms applicable to each transaction. I understand that material policy changes may require a new acknowledgment before future bidding access is continued.
